#601 Canadian Ammolite SS Pendant (ONE-OFF ITEM) |

I acquired several pieces of Canadian Ammolite. This one was filed into shape and coated with a protective layer to bring out the colours. The photo really doesn't do justice to the vibrancy of the colours present in this piece. Its been mounted into a sterling silver surround with decorative additions of sterling silver shapes.

A Black Obsidian Arrowhead is set into a sterling silver surround and hangs off a handmade silver bail. This is a terrific pendant and feels great to wear. It looks as though it may be sharp - but I guarantee it isn't! All sharp edges have been polished out.
The black Obsidian Arrowhead has a great polish to it and has been hand cut to reveal its beauty.

#494 Sterling Silver uncut, raw, polished Pink Sapphire & Garnet Pendant "Raspberry!"

This unusual pendant was created from a raw but polished Sapphire I came across. It just looked so much like a raspberry that I named it such! The stone is topped with a sterling silver fitting with "lid" and an unusual bail arrangement. The Garnet is set into the middle as shown in the picture.

#564 Black Potch with Firey Opal Inlay SS Pendant "Evolution" (ONE-OFF ITEM) |

Was I in a strange mood when I created this or what! I didn't plan the design, it just sort of evolved. (Hence the name.)
Anyway, here we have a black potch bead with a gorgeous Aussie Opal inlay. Potch is a common opal with no colour. It varies from black to milk white to greenish, yellowish or bluish in colour. Potch has no real value in itself, its value comes from the effect it has on the colours above it.
The bead is mounted into a decorative Sterling Silver surround (not stuck in with glue). The whole thing sits on a delicate woven wire "shape" which is decorated with Sterling Silver balls and unusual shapes. There are no sharp edges on this piece. Things like that really irritate me - that's why I ensure that everything is sooo smooth.

The picture doesn't do the Galena justice! So just imagine something shinier that catches the light in all directions and you're getting close!
The stone is wrapped with SS wire and topped off with an unusual bail. The Galena stone I've used for this pendant is a stable stone - in that bits of it won't drop off. There are no sharp edges either.

This unusual pendant measures approx 21mm x 16mm x 11mm.
It has been created from a Titanium Quartz Druzy which is basically a slice of quartz containing tiny crystals (Druzy) which has been ionised with Titanium. This process gives it its spectacular colour. It shimmers and changes colour from purple to green as it moves. The druzy has been drilled and has a solid Sterling Silver "Freeform" charm dangle. It also has a wire wrapped bail and is ready to be attached to a chain or thong.
