Its strange how certain circumstances can affect our passions in life. My love of crystals and all things metaphysical began several years ago when I broke my wrist in an encounter with one of my sheep, in fact I think he crops up in several photos on this website! 

 

I was doing the weekly market and a very nice woman, a healer, came up to my stall, got a crystal wand out and put it on my heavily bandaged wrist.  Through the layers of bandage I could actually feel a sort of tingly feeling, followed by some gentle heat and from then on I was well and truly hooked.  I occasionally still see this lady (who always has a variety of wands with her) and she usually tries one out on me!  The last one was a Fluorite wand and that one really made me jump when she put it on my back.
