Custom Order Information

There are two phases to ordering a custom designed piece of jewellery. Phase 1 starts with a discussion about the piece, its size, stones and metals to be used. Phase 2 is completed after you give your approval of the design - image(s) I send.

Phase 1 of the Custom Order

The custom order process for a new jewellery design starts with your email or phone call.

During this first phase I ask you to tell me something about the jewellery you want (the type, stones, metal or anything else important to you).

I will help you during the design phase by asking questions and making suggestions so the final design is what you have envisioned.

This usually involves several phone conversations or emails to ensure I understand what you would like your finished piece to look like.

I will make sure we cover the stones, size, metals, finish, weight and an estimated price and delivery schedule

My Responsibility

Part of my responsibility is to offer guidance about design, size, weight, stones and metals. This is to ensure that the piece is not only wearable, but one that receives compliments every time you wear it. I want this to become one of your favourite pieces of jewellery - something you will treasure for a long time to come.

Part of this responsibility is offering alternative suggestions, to ensure that your custom piece is one you will be absolutely delighted with.

For instance, if you have asked for a pair of earrings with specific stones in a certain size, I would warn you if that would result in very heavy earrings. I would suggest an alternative for the stone or its size.

Phase 2 of the Custom Order

The second phase of the process begins after I have a clear understanding of your needs obtained from our phone conversations or email correspondence.

In this phase, I create a design(s) and supply you with digital images of the actual (or sample) stones.

When the design(s) are ready, I will send you an email with pictures of the design(s) for you to approve, or request modifications.

I guarantee the craftsmanship and materials used in my jewellery and that all characterisations and descriptions offered by email are accurate.

If you have any questions about ordering a custom designed piece, please call or email me. I will be happy to answer your questions and discuss any concerns in detail.
